Description
The MegR is a very heavy duty Seawave that can cope with 7925 us gph Wavemakers on sine wave to a maximum depth of 8 inches mm maximum drive shaft length ,it comes with two mounts for either braced or rimless up to 3/4inch thick glass .
Ocean Sea Products also manufacture extra wide jaw clamps for wide rim US Reef Aquariums ,please ask for details .
The MegR rotates 260 degrees from its set start point,it runs on 5v dc and uses less than 1 am ,it is a silent running SeAwave at a distance of 3 foot .
A simple A4 stainless bolt separates the body from the bracket for servicing
The unit comes with a 6ft 2inches meter umbilical lead with a ip65 break joint at 12 inches from the motor head to allow for servicing.
The unit comes with a signature mount set that gives you 3 drive shafts at various lengths and a Magless mount adapter,you also get a paddle mount that allows you to mount any magnetic wave maker to it using both magnets .
All exposed metals are A4 marine grade .
You can purchase other mounts separately to suit your individual needs for example Nero 7 ,Magless signature mount for a Jabao or Jecod .,Panerhi, Octopulse ,blue line .

Like a lot of us that have had there tank set up for a few years you get used to your set up and accept any limitations .but then my old wavemaker stopped working so i looked around at what is on offer and came accross the ocean sea waves product and the more i looked the better they sounded so i ordered myself a meg-r and set it up hopeing for an improvement in flow because of the oscillation .I thought my tank was clean but the amount of detritus this meg-r stirred up was amazing and showed how inifficient my old fixed wavemaker was. Now after 3 months use my corals have never looked better or more colorful with planty of fresh growth.This has got to be the way to go for everyone with corals who want the best for their system

I’ve seen improved health of my corals with more even colony growth, better polyp extension, less detritus buildup, as well as being able to remove excess powerheads while still getting rid of dead spots. I was such a fan as a customer that I decided to put my business behind it and support Ocean Sea Products. I currently run 16 Pro R and Meg R units on my farm and plan on adding more. Hi im Kevin from Amsterdam The Netherlands. A while ago i was in the process of some problem solving regarding flow and detritus. As colonies became bigger and bigger the need for different solutions became clearer. Then i got my hands on 2 of the Pro R units and they blown me away. The flow was amazing way more random than you can create with a static setup. So i decided to get 2 more of the MegR units for the frag system can’t go without these beasts! Quality and reliability are 1-0! And Mark is very very helpfull!
