Wow!!! I thought I had my flow nailed down, then I added this. Honestly it’s changed my aquarium and the entire way I look at my reefing journey. I’m now getting flow to my corals from angles I didn’t think possible.
I’ve noticed increased growth and colouration in a matter of weeks. Not to mention it’s even improved nutrient export as well.
These really are worth every penny and I’ll be adding another as soon as I can.

I have one of these on my 150g 72x48x12 inch tank. It provides perfect three dimensional flow in the tank. Keeps torches and acros super happy. I have a Jebao 22 pump attached to it.
In addition to it, it keeps the tank super clean as it sweeps 180 degrees. I noticed my po4 levels dropping also.

I develop OpenReef, an open-source reef controller, which means I spend most of my time looking at aquarium hardware and being quietly unimpressed by it. A lot of what reaches this hobby is rebadged, overpriced, and designed by people who’ve never kept a tank.
Ocean Sea Products isn’t that. I’ve been dealing with Mark for a while now, and what strikes you first is that he’s a reef keeper who started building things, not a company that spotted a market. He answers his own messages. He knows his own product down to the component. When I’ve asked him awkward technical questions he’s given me straight answers rather than marketing lines, which in this industry is rarer than it should be.
The oscillating approach is the right problem to be solving, too. Dead spots are the thing most of us quietly tolerate and then throw a third powerhead at. A pump that sweeps is a better answer to that question than buying more pumps.
I’m not going to tell you how it’s performed in my system, because I haven’t run one long enough to say anything worth reading. What I will say is that I’ve seen enough of what Mark’s building to want to work with him on it — and I don’t put my name near things lightly.

Hello! My name is Terrill Newell of Poo Tang Reefs and I am the United States distributor for Ocean Sea Products.
I first came to these products as a customer and was immediately blown away (pun intended) with the improved flow this brought to my systems.
These oscillating units took basic powerheads stuck on the glass and made them multidirectional monsters being able to sweep across the tank, creating truly randomized flow that I find so difficult to achieve, especially with grown in tanks.
I’ve seen improved health of my corals with more even colony growth, better polyp extension, less detritus buildup, as well as being able to remove excess powerheads while still getting rid of dead spots.
I was such a fan as a customer that I decided to put my business behind it and support Ocean Sea Products. I currently run 16 Pro R and Meg R units on my farm and plan on adding more. I support what I use and what i think brings benefit to the hobby. In my honest opinion as a hobbyist first, these are truly worth it for the health of your animals.
